Our sponsored content policy sets out what sponsors can buy, what they never can, and how every paid item is labeled.
What can be sponsored
- One slot per newsletter issue, labeled Sponsored.
- Paid placements in articles, mostly tools and software, labeled as paid.
- Featured listings in the future electrician directory, labeled Sponsored.
What cannot be bought
- Coverage, rankings or reviews.
- Changes to data, license facts or quotes.
- Advance review of any story.
Links
Paid links carry the attributes search engines ask for. We cap paid placements per year and keep a log.
